When I was a little girl, my sweetest elderly neighbour, Mrs. Bar, had the most amazing collection of old style fairy tale books.
She would often let me look at the pictures, as I was to young to read. She often read me stories, if I wasn't well.
One of the stories I rememnered, but heve been able to find the book again. I think it was called 'Harlequin Magic'.
It was all about a tiny harlequin who wanted to be big like all the other Harlequins. It reminded me of myself when I was a child, as I often wished I was tall like my siblings.
I hope you like my Fantasia image of a Harlequin, in its own little world of fantasy, glitter, baubbles, magic, and dreams.
I have called this one, "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Please, please make me Tall".
Enjoy..... |

Shez, I'm not sure the connection to fairy tales came through without your comments, so thanks for explaining it! It's a very well-done shot of a toy, though. I could imagine it on the program for a puppet show, for example. |

I love all the colors and items of interest in the shot. I will also say that the same things that are fun and excellent also detract from the major focus. A nice shot that can seem a bit cluttered. Still nice job! |

this photo seems a little too busy for me, I think there is too many things too look at, its hard to notice the reflection. |
