 i wanted a very close up an insect for this challenge, preferrably a dragonfly, because dpc voters seem to like them ..
there's no way you could have got close enough to this dragonfly to see his incredible complexity .. he only stopped on this branch long enough for me to take about 5 photographs before he took off when i moved to get closer ... this has been cropped quite a bit ..
some of the voters wont realise that this totally fits the challenge, thinking that anyone would be able to see his details .. well they would be totally wrong ..
i nearly gave it a title, which i didnt really like, to try and overcome the erroneous assumptions that some voters may make .. also they may'v thought it was dead or something, and therefore very easy to photograph .. they'd be wrong again ..

Wow, Roz! Very underated - comes off a little overexposed on the monitor I'm browsing on right now (not my usual), but I love the colors & textures. Meets the challenge well, but there seem to be some particularly crappy voters floating around these days, ha ha... :~)

OMG Roz!!! This is a photo we would never be able to see with the naked eye. Amazing detail - so crisp and clear. Absolutely genius. I wish it had finished higher - it certainly would have deserved it. OX

Wow, another stunning Macro Roz...You sometimes get the feeling that we are overindulged at DPC because if this is 'only' a 6.02 then I am a the Prime Minister of Australia!!! Stunning colours and an image that would grace the pages of any naturalist publication
