Taken on a very cold night from a bridge overlooking the Lees transitway (bus rapid transit) station in Ottawa.

I quite like this shot and a few others from this shoot, but I wonder whether it is a little too subtle at the 640 pixel limit enforced by the challenge. With a ten second exposure, it was difficult to find shots with all my desired elements exactly the way I wanted them. In this shot, the couple waiting for the bus are a little more blurred than in other shots; if I could have used photoshop, I would have edited in a different version of them from a couple of shots earlier.

This is a good idea and the overall shot is very interesting to me because the place is so different from the Florida scenes that I see daily.
I like the leading line zig zag in the left lower corner, and the way the light plays to the brighter center, as well as the starring of the lights from the f11 aperture.
It's an interesting scene, and photographed nicely too.
Try tungsten white balance sometime when you shoot nights in town where the sodium lights are orange. It also works great in the country side with moon light, and results in a sweet blue sky at night.

The spirit level on my tripod begs to differ. ;-)

Seriously though, it is difficult to see where "level" should be in this picture, as there are no convenient reference points. The bridge in the background is part of a banked curve on the Queensway. To confound things further, it is angled away from the viewer and on a slight downhill slope from right to left.

I'll bet it was cold. Nice shot.

Too far zoomed out to give me the feel of the cold.

the street lights have made everything so bright, the light trails are rather indistinct
