beautiful, I don't see the fire, yet I can smell it somehow. |

Great color. I really like the placement of the tree and I'm generally not a fan of tilted formatting. This shows careful consideration of unusual framing. |

the square crop bothers me for some reason. Can't really explain why. Like the backlighting and the colors very much....but not the crop. I do not like the clump beyound the tree much either....it appears to way the tree image down to me? WOW. I'm beat! Sorry I could not explain better. |

Nice color and shapes. I don't much like the diagonal treatment. |

Simple composition is very interesting. Love the bold blackness of the tree. The angle you chose makes it very dynamic. Love the halo of sunlight on the bottom of the tree. Gives a feeling of fire. The bright vibrant hues of sunlight really makes this shot dramatic. "10" |

this is really a fantastic photo. I love the composition & the colours. I don;t, however, think that this hot fits the challenge very well. |

Pretty, but shooting fire is a lot tougher than shooting a sunset, hence you've dodged the challenge. |

not sure about the angle, but this will make a great print.
Well done, hope it does well.9 |

Nice attractive picture. I do think it would have looked better in its natural, vertical orientation. |

Nice shot, but I think the angle is distracting |

That touch of backlit cloud at the base of the tree is very redolent of fire. The sky looks like it's been painted with a wide brush. |

If the bush were actually on fire it would be good. |

Good use of a rotated crop to provide interest and add to the composition - pleasing colouring and tonal qualities. 8 |
