I love this one......I like how the ivy is framing the first porch. Great eye! I gave you a 10.....realy thought it would do better.

Cool. I like it. Textures, depth, color. I scored it well but might have scored higher if a few of the neighbors were in the pictue. Well done.

Great glimpse......almost didn't look at this one enough. Very subtle and encompassing image after a good look. 7

Those porch conversations really to knit the city together in a way that most people don't see. I remember reading that looking sideways is a good exercise for seeing things differently. Your capture looking sideways down the row illustrates the point.

Nice tunnel effect of all of the porches in a line. It would be much improved if there were actually neighbors chatting here. New Orleans?

Somehow this picture conveys community without the people. Would have been perfect for one of those challenges as well. Great shot, though it seems the perspective gets lost a little bit beyond the first porch. Did you try it a bit darker and with a bit more contrast? If you can recapture it, shrinking your depth-of-field might help too, though I'm not sure it would convey the same sense of community if the further porches were out of focus... Either way, a very simple shot, yet perfect for evoking a feeling!

Wonderful shot! The vines framing the first porch really set this off.

Looks like these neighbors should all know each other well. I like the ivy used as a framing element.

Love the tunnel effect. A shot that shows an everyday scene. My only complaint is that it is not level.
