ooops - sorry! It was the comment to another picture - my computer (as you know - it's never the user's fault but always the computers) must have mixed it up... oh jeh
I'm still laughing! When you see the other picture, you'll know, what I meant!!!
About your picture - I'd just like to be there! Reminds me of another place in another part of the world... it's a very good shot... like holiday...
For me it's a bit faded... too less colorful?!?
Don't know the whole story, so its just a nice shot...

Greetings,
Martina (KAOS!)

Initial=Stirs emotion because I remember when it blew it's top.
Composition=good
Clarity (focus, details)=good DOF... A bit soft
Exposure=wonder if the blues were saturated, or if the sky was really cyan like that
Interesting or Emotive=Emotive to those who know the story. Beautiful landscape otherwise.

I am using a this new detailed commenting method inspired by autool. (Thanks

reminds me of a vacation i took on corfu, greece a couple of years back. the haziness and look down to the beach is the same.

challenge met -- yes
composition / appeal -- ok, i wish there was another subject in the foreground to attract my attention, but i guess then it wouldn't be a photo of mt. st. helens anymore.
technical -- fine
overall -- 5

Very nice photo. Too bad it was hazy. I would have driven around to get a more direct line of sight on the dome, but that's me. 9 waltoml.

Great how the haze doesn't preclude a blue sky. Love the foreground in particular. Wonderful landscape 7 sjgleah

i love the pacific northwest. Too bad this photo was taken in the middle of a day.... did you try using a polarizer? It'll help remove the haze 7
