Heh - an army of gulls. Great idea and good job of making it look like there really are more than one bird.

The title reminds me of the penquins in the movie 'Madagascar'.

Very well done. Looks almost like a row of gulls walking right behind each other.

the title implies that it's more than one bird there, but i suspect it isn't. it's a beautiful seaside photo, but it is not clear to anyone that didn't know that it's one bird's path through time.

Technically good perhaps, but it has made for a bizarre rather than an appealing picture.

A little grainy, not very interesting to me. Good comp and idea though!

I don't normally pay much attention to birds walking down the beach. A scene like this might catch my eye though. Maybe.

sher: so shots of people walking are not natural but shots of a gull walking is natural?

scalvert: no. nothing's natural (except physics).

frisca: gulls have no Will. they are natural. everything they do is driven by instinct.

ursula: how do you know that gulls aren't thinking. have you ever looked on in the eye?

frisca: it's theologically impossible.

scalvert: ag! no theology! physics says no. Physics is going to give me another ribbon.

GeneralE: walking requires physics.

scalvert: yes, but not one single smooth motion of physics.

ursula: I don't recall seeing "single" or "smooth" in the rules.

scalvert: it's implied by natural.

ursula: that's funny. I've never seen nature be singular or smooth.

scalvert: what are you? a Quantum physicist?

lol Photographically however the this image doesn't hold my interest that much. The beach is kind of cluttered and the lighting is dull.

I like the title and the composition. Overall I think that you met the challenge very well. Blending looks good. But the image looks a little soft, and the birds maybe a bit OOF. For that I am giving it a 6.
