| Nice portrait, though it is a bit too high-key for my tastes. The colors around the beak and neck look washed out. |

| Nice job of handling the cross-hatch of a cage to provide a very complimentary background. Good color and detail on the bird. |

| Colors are a little garish, to my eyes, and the image appears overexposed but I do like what you've done with post processing to make the background fence more pleasing. I really like the way the fence's pattern compliments the pattern in the bird's feathers. Also, good capture of the fierce gaze. |

| It's unfortunate that we can see the pattern of the fence in the background. Also, the feathers are lacking in detail from overexposure or too much contrast or a little of both. It's much too bright. |
