Thanks to all who commented! It's both helpful and encouraging to me. I know it's not a traditional portrait (being in a bathtub and all) but I think it turned out quite nice. Of course, I'm probably a little biased... :) And BTW, he really enjoys his baths. :)
Here was my other choice (and believe me, it was a hard one) but the one I submitted just seemed technically better. This one was just fun!!

| This is a really good shot... I could see it in a magazine. My only critique is the bright spot at the top of the head and behind reflecting against the tub. Excellent choice of b/w. |

I really like the light setting, and your perspective. The "reflection" is also very nice. A good 9! :-D

| I had to look at this twice - it drew me in - look at the reflection in the tub drain - to cool. It's a great picture for mounting an showing. This is a keeper for your wall at home for years to come. |

| nice....looks like my lil godson! B&W really put an effect on him. something people never notice is the reflection or they might ding you for it, but i think that is is neat. |

the drain behind the child takes away from the cute face, i think i would of cloned that out or cropped that little boy tighter |

| This is a really excellent shot. I LOVE the composition. I also love the expression. You really captured something here. The tones are pitch perfect and I like that you used black and white for this image. I think this one may take home a ribbon. |

| Cute shot. I like babies in a white background. Something about the combination is just sweet and innocent. The glare off the top of the head is a bit distracting. I can't decide if the chrome piece is helpful (with the cool reflection and helps define the setting) or distracting. I think I'd leave it. |
