My cat wouldn't sit still so I opted to shoot his buddy Angel. I took it out of the big tank and placed it in a smaller glass vase with a white back drop behind. The crop is a little tighter than I would like.

It's a little unconventional and will only probably score in the mid 5's, but I'm ok with that. Maybe it will stand out amongst all the furry creatures??? We'll see.........

Good job. I see you came in a bit higher than you expected. Thanks for the notes on how you photographed it. I was curious.

I gave it an 8, BTW. I knew that getting such a clear shot of a fish was not easy and it did stand out from all the fluffy critters.

I want to know how you managed such a clear picture of this guy. Looks backlit, but I still can't tell how you shot it.

Those scales look like molten gold! Awesome looking fish, excellent clarity and sharpness... just beautiful

A little too overexposed for my taste. The black portion around the top of the eye looks unnatural.

Wow; that's a lot of detail for a fish photo. Serious gold on the body.

I wouldn't have thought it possible to take a fantastic image of a fish. You did it! 8
