 Lighting was natural daylight coming through the window. Had I tried to set up additional lighting, Venus would have run off.

This is so sharp! Funny how I have 2 cats and never noticed their nose looked like leather... A really great macro in my definition, as it makes us see something we'd never notice otherwise.

This is really close up. I love the little hairs on top of Venus' nose. I also like the use of natural daylight.

great detail on the upper portion of the photo, however i do believe that if you are going to occupy the entire photo with the nose you should try to have the whole nose in focus.

I want to do this too but short of knocking out the cat I can't see how to get him to sit still long enough for this. Great shot

I love kitty macros! Great capture of the nose and fur textures, and your kitty has nice coloring and markings around her nose.
