This seems almost like an editorial portrait. The despair is communicated, but I am having a difficult time seeing this as an environmental portrait. |

this has a feeling to it in that alone its a 10. a tad dark but that enhanses the mood |

I really like this capture, it certainly has a lot of emotion and a very heavy mood. The light -> dark transition is outstanding and the sharp focus the subjects face is excellent. I welcome this image as one of my favorites. |

The face of the subject is rather dark and noisy. I would have preferred more of a crop on the top. Also, I don't really connect the title with the picture. Without the title I would have just thought it was a girl looking down...4 |

I wouldn't have "got" this photo had it not been for the title. With the title it's definitely a moving shot. |
