not much done editing wise, just few colour adjustments to bring out the red

Angela, nice photo, I love our red dirt and red rocks up north, as has been said, you really needed to make use of the full size allowed here. But it's excellent to see you having a go, don't let the low score and place discourage you, take the advice you've been given and do a better one next time, that's how you grow here. That's how I grew here.

Try to use the maximum size alloted for your presentations. It makes it easier to see them.

The picture is very small, it would have been better larger.

why so small? Hard to see the details and thus the patterns.

pity this image is so small! Looks almost like a haunch of beef. very interesting.

It's a bit small, but I don't discriminateon how small it is.

An interesting subject, however, you should try to make full use of the maximum image size allowed in the challenge

Tiny image a bit too small for me to be able to appreciate any subtle pattern in that ore.

The size lacks detail, and I'm not finding myself attracted to the subject.

Too small

Getting closer and having a larger photograph would have made this better. At first glance, I thought it was a side of beef or something.

I think your photo could have more impact if it were larger. If you are unsure about sizing, check the forums on post processing issues.

The cropping doesn't work for me. A close-up would have been more interesting. Also, this is rather small in size, I would recommend making use of the max. size for the contest, i.e. 640 px in this case. -3

Looks like a piece of raw beef, haha!
03/26/2008 03:28:51 PM
I'm interested in this, but I don't understand why you have entered an image that's so small.

theres no pattern here
