 A pomelo, still in its net bag. Thi particular pomelo had absolutely no taste whatsoever, so I was about to discard it when I realized that the netting made a pleasing pattern on the dimply pomelo skin...try saying THAT three times fast!

Pomelo is lit partly from underneath and from the left side with a diffuser. Camera mounted on tripod, lights 60w.

pp: crop, curves, brightness/contrast, hue/saturation, warming filter, resize, usm, sharpen edges, save for web

Howdy neighbour! (look up one in the results...)

Nice work. I like the lighting from one side, gives it lots of definition, and it is tack sharp. :)

Edit to add: I did get more 1's then you did though! LOL

I like how the colors *don't* contrast, but it seems a bit oversharpened in some places. I also like how the light "falls" off

The colors are vivid and the focus is nice, but the shadow cutting the picture in half is a little irritating.
