A lower crop that emphasizes the pattern in the clouds would be more striking - even if it meant cutting out the nearest pole.

gtreat sunset photo, with good lines created by the wires which help to lead the eye through the entire photo. Good color also.

I counted, and indeed, there are nine wires. The clouds in this picture look great.

The pattern is not really enough of the focus of the shot. I'll give you credit for trying to make somehting ugly beautiful, but honestly a telephone poles is hard to make look good.
