I like this image. I don't really focus on pattern though, because the whole shot is beautiful.

the lines in this photo define the positive characteristics of this image.

Beautiful colours. The red and the blues balance one another perfectly. The contrast is excellent. I may have cropped the top of the image (the grass/bush area) out though. Also, the shadow in the foreground is a bit of an issue.

Really nice location, i think it would be stronger if it ws a little brighter though. And line of shadow near the front is a bit distracting also. Overall it's a great photo.

This picture would have been so much better if the river wasn't there. It's a bit distracting from the sand pattern.

I think it needs cropping. The water detracts from the patterns in the sand dune.

This leads my eye quite nicely to the water. I do find the top end of the frame to be a little crowded compared to the rest of the image.

The long thin shadow near the bottom front sort of cuts the flow of the sand pattern.

I like the ripples in the sand, but I don't think you needed to include the stream in the background.

An even tighter cropping would have improved this one

This is a winner....very natural and not overdone with HDR, my favorite.

A crop of just the sand and water may have had more impact
