Well, what can I say? We don't have any real cowboys in Lancashire, England.

Rest in peace Sean.

Great shot! Oh, well, on the score. DNMC, of course. But if you've got something similar, put it in the free study. I bet it'd do very well!

Excellent shot. Good selective desaturation. Maybe a shoehorn but with the Bon Jovi reference I'll accept it. 8

Great action shot and good use of selective desat.

Hmmm? You're photo is probably going to smoke the heck out of mine. It's certainly a better photo by all means but if not for the title, I think it would be a far cry to see it as a 'Cowboy' shot. For me, the challenge was not only about 'Cowboy' but also a 'Memoriam' for a fellow photographer. Yeah, I know, 'Cause I'm wanted - Dead or Alive'. Maybe your idea was 'In Memoriam? He actually did have a challenge depicting a Motorcycle as seen here but I wonder how many voters will actually bother to see for themselves?

Well, thanks for your time. I'm not voting in this challenge but if I were: As a challenge shot I'd have to score it a 7 or 8. Maybe a 9 'cause it's a wicked bad-ass photo. As a stand-alone photo: it's a 10 all the way. Thanks for your time...

Pushing the challenge a bit, but I'll let you off as it's a great capture. Plus they do look a bit like they're riding horses.

It's a great shot. I'm taking a point off because of the questionable reference of a Cowboy.

If you hadn't titled it as such, I wouldn't have considered it a cowboy shot, of course. Like the colorizing of the subject. Great action shot.

Good action shot and great color, however I think your score may end up more "dead" than "alive". Good luck

great shot and desat, but I don't see 'cowboy' here...too title-dependent.

A bit of a stretch, but a magnificent capture. Well done.

Very good action shot, but doesn't really meet the challenge, IMO.

Shoehorn or a creative approach to the challenge? You'll probably hear comments of both types throughout the voting period.

Interesting use of selective desaturation here to create a stronger separation from the background. Nice crop to add focus to the rider's eyes.
