Done as a last minute idea. The picture, to me, was all about shifty eyes. Laine, my four-year-old was much easier to direct than Caden, my seven-year-old.

I'm tickled this got the yellow!

Not quite as dark as your nearest neighbor--but still a crime scene. Congrats to you! BTW, Scalvert would have had an ant carrying away one of the cookies. :P

Sweet shot!
I never would have thought of this - but you did - congrats!

Since you have though, I wondered if you have any outtakes - Like a few incriminating crumbs on the table in front of one or both, or maybe include some sort of mouse with a grin hiding underneath the lip of a deeper cookie tray, while mom wags an accusatory finger at wide-eyed innocents, or both point at each other "It was him/her", or the shrugged shoulders and the mouse, or a scene showing the table as it is, but we see the front of the table, and underneath a doggy licking it's lips.

No matter - this is so good - very well done, as usual

You have a photographic family - keep those family album shots coming!

I absolutely love this! How did you get the background so white? Did you have to do an extraction? If so, you did a great job!! Congrats on the yellow ribbon!

Congrats Doc. A great last minute entry. Like you said in the comments, the shifty eyes seal the shot.

Congrats on the Yellow Doc! I had a feeling this was yours. Great use of space, and yes - the shifty eyes were definitely the key. You have a couple of great little models there! Glad it did so well :O)

Nice shot. Those look like some good cookies!

Cute shot here. I like the point of view on this, though just a touch of skew would level out the lines.

I had a similar idea to this, but didn't do this challenge. I think yours is the best of the "stolen cookie" theme. good eyes, lights, composition, and story telling.

Great picture - only thing that might have improved it would be the two of them looking at each other with mock innocence : )

Great picture, the culprit of the missing cookie caper I bet isn't shown in this scene. Great clarity, the depth of field is a little narrow, and the cookies are a little flat.

Well, you positively mastered my idea on this one :) I hope you're not getting as DNMCed as I am because this is technically and compositionally very well done and also cute and clever as can be. I have a feeling this is DrAchoo...

There is nothing here, it is a clean image, though what crime? how do we know there was not always five cookies? Looks more like plotting the crime than one already committed.
