Camera: Canon EOS-400D Rebel XTi
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
Date: Jul 12, 2008

 Ingredients
* 1/2 cups water
* 1/2 cup milk
* 11/2 spoon tea powder
* 3 cardamom pods, crushed in a mortar
* 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder (optional)
* sugar, to taste
Directions
1. Once water begins to boil add the sugar,tea powder,cardamom & ginger (if using) & Add enough sugar (or sugar substitute) to suit your taste.
2. Simmer over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes & add milk.
3. Strain,serve and enjoy!

Nice comp and textures, the orange on brown is great, simplicity is always a plus, great work, my fav so far, 10.

This feels so zen, I really like it. Only thing I would change is to put the tea cup on an upper or lower third, this is just a little too close to centered. Oh and getting rid of the shadow would be good too, but it's not a major distraction,

Tea makes the world go round :) Good use of tea as a background. The shadow cast from the light to the top could do with attention though.

I like the way you used coffee or coffee like material as your background and give good contrast to the image. Initially gave a 7. But I changed my mind. + 1

wish the shadow in the tea wasent so dark, maybe a higher light would have helped get rid of that, but i do like the backdrop of tea.

Very simple and, in the spirit of the orient, very ordered. The milk and bubbles is a bit distracting, but it also creates a nice color tone to contrast to the leaves. The orange cup stripe is fantastic.

Such a great shot, Its in my top 5.
