Great reflections in the eye. The fly must be drive the poor horse nuts.

OK, initially I thought this shot came across as a bit snapshotty. BUT... The sense of scale here is actually stunning, especially being able to see the Flys eyes as well, and the reflection of the horse is a nice little touch that will probably be missed by some voters.. however, saying that, the border doesnt do this shot any favours, and maybe some selective contrast would of made the whole shot tighter.. Still, the idea is good and the reflection is a nice little touch.. well done!

even though i like the fly, it is kinda distracting. perhaps a different reflection in the horses eye might have been better, something without a pole

whoa....a little too much of a macro. looks more like a shot for a vet journal.

Clever title - but the various elements don't quite hold together for me . . the title appears to refer to the fly and the horse, but the reflection is possibly a stronger visual element, and the white of his eye draws the viewer away from both the previous aspects.

There are lot's of things in this shot - but for me they end up fighting for attention instead of working together.

I like the idea. I just wish you had played more with the fly to bring it out more in pp.

I can honestly say that I never noticed that a horse had eyelashes!
