Tough to guess what voters will be looking for, but I certainly would think "colorful bird" when looking at a peacock picture. I suspect something simpler, maybe studio shots, will score better. We'll see.
Had a shot of a zoo peacock but was unhappy with the noise in the background which was really ugly in B&W, so went out and shot another peacock today. Not a terribly original pose but I'm happy with the DOF and detail and the patterns in the background. C'mere, 5.0!

| I can see the vivid colours of him now. Depth of field is brilliant. Shame the background was not lighter to really make him stand out. Well taken and great crop of this. |
