 A wapiti bull bugles during the autumn rutting season. Tough job to supervise his harem of 30 cows and defend his territory against all challengers. The bugle is triumphant, yet mournful and sad. This is an aging, fully mature bull. Probably his last hurrah!

I don't see how this picture fits the challenge, but it sure is awesome! The picture is an easy 10. The fit for the challenge looks more like a 1. You've put me in a tricky spot here. But damn it's a great picture! I could REALLY STRETCH and say this fits "bummer" because you've photographed a hunter's classic aiming point - perfect shot to the vitals. That would be a bummer for the elk. I hate giving a ten to a shot that is a DNMC, but I have to in this case.

It would be cool if you chased him around trying to hang Christmas decorations on his horns. Now that would have been a picture!

BEAUTIFUL IMAGE... It just doesn't say "bummer" to me, though... *sorry*

Perhaps you should have saved this for Free Study if you're a member. It would have done well there, I think.
