 dewdrops on a little plant in my backyard. No idea what the plant is, it looks like a cross between a mushroom and a fern, and it's quite small. I've been told it's an "angiosperm".

This is simply a wonderful technical photograph. Color, DOF and framing are exceptional. It is a good image in every way and was one of my top three picks for this challenge. Hope the score for this one was not lower because people recognized it as a plant. I'd be proud to take something this good.

My first impression was to go, "But that's a plant that's not... no wait, yes it is." I love the color and the focus. It's a very beautiful shot!

I think that black blob at the top could have been cropped out but overall this is quite successful.

Lovely colors and lighting. I'm not sure about the darker lump at the top - I'd find the composition a little more pleasing with a crop of it. Nice find.
