Ceratophrys is a genus of frogs in the family Leptodactylidae, subfamily Ceratophryinae. They are also known as South American horned frogs as well as pacman frogs due to their characteristically large mouth and abdomen, thus resembling the video game character.
This is my daughters frog. His name is Jabbada (Jabba the Hutt). I was afraid he wouldn't cooperate with me but he sat and posed until I was finished! He is the frog king!
I took this pic on a stump in my backyard. There is some nice fungus growing on it.

This should have finished higher! Getting a frog to pose wearing any kind of crown is an accomplishment. This fellow is obviously the patient type (or is practicing to be a movie star when he grows up). Hope he got a treat for this (although if it was a mealworm or anything similar I don't need to know the details).

This is a fun photo Terry. I can't believe you got the frog to sit still and wear that crown. Love all the colors and textures in this. Congrats on a great finish!

Good work ... try tweaking the levels and saturation as well as contrast to give the image more pop.

Love the crown!!!

The paper crown looks a bit cheesy, but nice frog and background.
