Wow! Having read what the challenge required, you're the only one acting like an A-hole. The challenge requirements were quite clear and you failed to meet them or even come close. |
What he said, Nick. I for one never ever deliberately vote down others shots in the stupid and vain hope that it will make my score rise - cause it doesn't work! They get scrubbed! Give out worthwhile scores/comments, get the same back.
Or are you just p.o.'d that you and your experience and big-ass lens and camera combined can't beat people with beginner-level DSLRs? Am I one of the recipients of your spiteful little 2s? I am very, very hard-pressed to ever give out anything less than a 4.
And the whole thing with Jdubsgirl...pitiful. Truly.
If you don't enjoy photography, and are still sooo delicate and precious that you can't accept criticism, then dpc will be all the richer for your departure. |

I beat you on the brown. I went out of the box and my score reflects it but I'm still happy with it and glad I entered it in the wildlife challenge. Way to go on yours. Excellent image and very much fits the challenge in my opinion. |

After your "near miss" last year, I give you 2 10s for having the stuff to go back to the hot zone!

You may get a few DNMC's, but I like it. |

DNMC in my opinion, not going to vote. Definitely a nice journalist-type photo though. |

Great shot, but where is the wildlife? What is SOOC? Comment only (just googled SOOC and get it now) It looks like you were in a very dangerous spot! |

You are probably getting nailed with DNMC comments, really nice capture, and one i would score well in a fs, I'm open to stretching the challenge a bit, but i think the main focus behind the challenge was to have animal shots. |

While this is a wonderful shot of a wildfire, I don't see any actual wildlife. Still, nice shot! |

""wildlife" should be considered non-domesticated mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians living in a natural environment"
Sorry... I don't think this meets the challenge...although I can see it's related... and a good image outside of the challenge. |
