I starting with my favorite bird, the Pelican. We have beaches all around us here at Caloundra. We often go to our favorite Bullcock Beach, to have fish and chips for tea, and to watch the sun go down.
One of my favorite Pelicans, who I call Percy, as he is very friendly, and loves having his photo taken, is often waiting for a us.
I will be going down to see him often at the moment, as this is my favorite time of the year to go to the beach, before it get to hot.
I hope you enjoy my series of 'seascape nature' images, for this 'Slice of Life' November 2008, side challenge.

| GREAT EYE TO SPOT THIS. THERE ARE TWO LINES- THE SHORELINE AND THE LINE OF BIRDS THAT COMBINE TO MAKE THIS IMAGE VISUALLY APPEALING. THESE BIRDS DO INDEED LOOK LIKE THEY ARE IN LINE WAITING FOR SOMETHING....PERHAPS THEY ARE THERE FOR THE MORNING CATCH:-) |

| He definitely looks like he is in charge :) I so wish we had a beach nearby, but, alas, the nearest ocean is at least 1000 miles away. This is beautiful and I look forward to more seascapes. I'll have to live my ocean visits vicariously through yours. |

My son, when viewing the thumbnail, thought this was Moses and the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. LOL |

I wish I had a place like this close by .... we have to go to the zoo to see a pelican :)
