 Here is another one of my favorite bird, the Pelican. This is at Bullcock Beach, which is not far from the town center in Caloundra, just as the sun was beginning to set.

My favorite Pelican, who I call Percy, is nearly always there, as he is very friendly.

This is my favorite time of the year to go to the beach, before it get to hot.

I hope you enjoy my series of 'seascape nature' images, for this 'Slice of Life' November 2008, side challenge.

I really like the purples and blues in these shots. Oh and the birds :) and the way the shoreline cuts such a nice diagonal across the frame. Great shot!

Both of these are very nice. Looks like Percy is in charge of the other birds (although I am not sure they are going along with the program)! Nice sky as well.
