After: Thanks, Everyone for the kind comments. This composition gave me many opportunities for comparison and contrast as well as double meanings.
1. I was attracted to the composition itself because of the juxtaposition of the light that Man makes and the light that God can produce.
2. I chose this photo for the challenge because of the tungsten filament in the lightbulb.
3. I processed the RAW to Jpeg conversion in Adobe RAW 4.2 in Tungsten because I was confident that the number of professionals here would instantly grasp the tungsten processing.
4. Using the Quick Select Tool, I carved the lighting sconce out of the original and gave it a fancy name because the look was appealing to me. I'm glad that it was to you, too. :) |

Nice light play. I'm not sure I like the frame divided right down the middle, but I like the overall concept and execution. |

I didn't enter the challenge because I couldn't find a clear tungsten bulb with the old style W shaped filaments, so for me its nice to see an alternative take on the W element, lovely idea and picture |

I do like the blue tones and the mix of straight lines, diagonal and arch. Other than that I don't find it overly exciting. |

Cute concept! Is that the moon out just below the beam there? Certainly it meets the challenge and cute title. |

I like this idea and composition. But the picture has a some distortion to it. Like it's been over processed. On the beam, for instance. Smooth this out and it's a really nice shot. |
