 I wanted to produce a simple image which isolate the lighthouse as the centre of attention
The reflection keeps attention on the building
and the leading lines were used to help draw in the eye as well.

I used B/W to help provide a feel of isolation within the image.

Some people, most likely one of them was Art, gave 1's to everyone who doesn't meet the challenge. dang.

I checked your page, it's incredible that you only have one ribbon not more. But I believe they are on their way soon, just keep on trying.

Light house photo is a very impressive work. Technically perfect. White doesn't burn my eyes, I can see the details on the structure and dark areas don't scare me at all :P nice post process. Composition is perfect also. The reflection and rule of third here very nicely put. I would get you 8 or 9 if I did vote. 6.0 low score, as always for my taste, I would probably guessed it around 6.5 or 6.8

lovely simple shot, great reflection, good use of b/w. But I'd like to see some hint of Art...whether a figure at base of tower, or footprints in sand going to/from tower. 8

Such a nice image. The shades of grey are remarkable. 8.

Would have been 10 from me of Roflmao, reflected (or shown) a bit more (or less) in this shot, in some way.
