The opening musical line to Hoagy Carmichael's "Stardust" being written by me with hearts and all....it took several tries to get the music correct - I like writing and transposing with pencils much better than pens and other non-erasable writing tools!

Editing included RAW to JPEG conversion with saturation, wb, clarity, and vibrance adjustments. Noise Ninja, hue/saturation - including masks for skin tones, selective colors to brighten whites and reds, dodge/burn on notes, add border post resize for web, adjust hue/saturation.

This is the lyric to Stardust (music by Hoagy Carmichael with the lyrics added in 1929 by Mitchell Parish)

"And now the purple dusk of twilight time
Steals across the meadows of my heart
High up in the sky the little stars climb
Always reminding me that we're apart

You wander down the lane and far away
Leaving me a song that will not die
Love is now the stardust of yesterday
The music of the years gone by

Sometimes I wonder why I spend
The lonely night dreaming of a song
The melody haunts my reverie
And I am once again with you
When our love was new
And each kiss an inspiration
But that was long ago
Now my consolation
Is in the stardust of a song

Beside a garden wall
When stars are bright
You are in my arms
The nightingale tells his fairy tale
of paradise where roses grew
Though I dream in vain
In my heart it will remain
My stardust melody
The memory of love's refrain"

There's a lot of noise on the hand and pencil which spoils this a wee bit, the idea itself though is so fantastic!

Feels a little too overexposed, wish the notes were darker. Clever idea.
