Well, here is my take on  coley's "The Meeting", inspired by njsabs2323's recent version. I am not saying my pic comes anywhere close to either of the two. I am not trying to copy, I am just inspired.
The pic itself consists of two pics and both guys are me. I can tell you, the water of the river Rhine* is very cold mid November. Anything for a picture, right?
* actually, at this specific location, the Rhine goes by the name of "Lek", but it's the same friggin' river, just check the map of The Netherlands. :) |

| Like the black and white. The slight softness works for the mood of this photo. Not sure why you cropped just the very bottom of his feet out though. Leaving them in with a little more sand would have been better for me. |

| Still trying to "get this" but, perhaps, it will hit me in a bit and I'll have to come back to let you know that I "got it". I usually feel stupid when I finally DO get it. Nice shot though. Works very well in b&w. |

| This image has me imagining all sorts of explanations for what I'm seeing. I like that in an image! I think I might have cloned out that sign on the left so the scene felt more completely deserted except for our two protagonists. |
