 Some room light plus strobe bounced off ceiling and shoot-through umbrella strobe.

Topaz Adjust for Clarity and tweak shadow exposure, detail strength and sharpen.
re-edited to take bowl out of center a bit while still leaving habanero in.
smart sharpen
adjust color balance a bit towards red, yellow, green
increase brightness a bit
reduce highlights a bit
select contents of bowl and increase red a bit
save for web

I forgot the garlic from the original but oh well. I don't expect much from it anyway. I hope I didn't overprocess it too much. Afterwards I made up the rest of the salsa and had a great chop and dip snack, but with all the habaneros it was REALLY hot!

The more I look at this the more I don't like the finishing. I adjusted color balance towards red, yellow, green and caused too much orange as a result. Plus it brought out the green in the wall that originally appeared black. My less processed one may have been better. I peaked at 6.0 at 10 votes.

I find the composition a bit crowded and the lighting somewhat flat.
