 One single image processed with shadows/highlights and levels. A circular polarizing filter was used to make the blue sky stand out.

The white 'balls' are bails of hay wrapped in white plastic. This is done in the fall with tractors with attachments on them that pick up the hay and wrap it before it drops them one at a time as it drives along. No wonder why the kids here call them "tractor eggs".

I'm speechless!!! My first blue ribbon! I'm truly honored and so happy. What a nice surprise to wake up and see my picture on the front page.

The shot was taken about 20 minutes from my house while on a photo shoot with scarbrd while he was on a business trip to Norway.

This made my week! :)

This is so beautiful. And I am mystified by those perfect snow bumps. I think the color adjustment may be too green - the sky is an odd teal color. It makes for an interesting shot, but a weird sky.
