Good trick!
This would make a good ad shot for "Lighter than Air" sneakers. I can visualize the video camera panning around a bedroom with some well known basketball player snoring in the bed, and the sneakers in this position at the end of the pan. The text over would read; "So light that you have to tie them down at night."
You got a grin for this one.

I like it how the light still appears like it is coming from above, as it would.

Moon Shoes, Hay Ohhhhh!

I love it, what i would have done was sever the lace a bit to give the feel that the shoes are pulling hard to get off and there ripping the laces.

That's just my opinion though

I can see why it was so popular - the shoes just look like they're straining to escape! :)

Very good! I like it a lot. Good light, good cropping, very atractive and fun. Focus still can get a little better, and that will always make your images differ from the pack. One of my two choices to win. Good luck!

the light placement added to the effect.. too bad there isnt a way to do it without tying off the shoe strings.. the ends just touching the chair would really be neat

I like this one. The title is deeper than one would first think. New Balance. Great gradient lighting. It is a bit obvious how this was done, but executed nicely. How did you fasten the chair on the roof? That is the trick! -10 sojourner

Cool. I like that you put the light on top (bottom). There are several photos with the same general idea, but I think you did a good job with it. I would like to see more of the chair and less space above the shoes maybe. ~indi

On of my favorites so far. Very illusional! Wish I had thought of it ---I have a chair just like that! The only little thing that I think may have made this even more dynamic would be a colorful wall for the background. 9

Nice effect and you've captured it well. The light seems to be a little too bright at the top of the photo though.
