 Taken on a trip to east Iceland. On a cold day after a rainy period the ice in the glacier get this spectacular color. Most people travel there in summer when the sun has destroyed the surface of the ice making it boringly white. Winter is definitely the season to explore the glaciers.

Wow, dramatic or what! I had to look at this for a while, turning my head sideways before I got the perspective and realised what I was looking at. How you can bring yourself to do that is beyond me? The colours, namely the blue of the ice is amazing the sweeping shape of the rock leads the eye up the shot to the shoes then the shape of the ice takes you along to the picks. Very well constructed to show the drama of the activity as well as the colours and the textures involved.

The angle is kinda strange. Can't quite tell what I'm looking at. But overall, quite good.
