Very peaceful scene at the end of a chaotic day I'm sure. You can see the love between them. I might have cropped some of the bottom to keep them from being in the middle of a square and to remove unneeded picture parts.

Starting on top. What about the next event?

Wonderful wedding shot. Good lighting.

Good contrast and POI!

Nice wedding shot. I photographed a wedding at a golf course last year, and this reminds me of that day.

As a pro wedding photographer myself I feel you have made several mistakes with this shot. Firstly it would of benefited from seeing the brides face. Secondly, I cant really make out the expression of the grooms face so I am very detached from the image as a whole. Thirdly I would of preferred this shot with a long focal length, wide aperture lens, it would of compressed the shot a lot more and given it a nice sense of depth. Next up is the whole area of darkness at the bottom of the shot.

As a whole it is a rather poor wedding shot and not something I would expect to present to a paying bride & groom. Revising my vote from 5 to a 4. I hope the criticism is of benefit to you.

cool capture
03/16/2009 03:25:30 AM
Well captured and presented.
03/16/2009 01:14:20 AM
Interesting shot, although a bit too centered for my taste.
03/15/2009 02:52:44 PM
exposure is just a little off imo
03/15/2009 02:19:21 PM
to bad you couldnt get the bride's face. beautiful fall colors in the background. why did you do a shoot at a golf course? just curious
03/15/2009 02:10:34 PM
The deep shadow in the forground is distracting
03/15/2009 10:21:27 AM
A very sweet photo.
03/15/2009 09:59:05 AM
the centred compesition do not add anything to this- great capture nevertheless
03/15/2009 07:22:47 AM
Nice wedding image.

What a beautiful memory picture. My only suggestion would have been to not have them standing in the tall dead grass, but rather on the greens.
03/14/2009 09:24:29 PM
Nice lighting. A bit far away.
03/14/2009 10:21:01 AM
you are to far away, focus is soft
03/14/2009 10:00:43 AM
I think if you cropped off part of the shadow in the foreground, it would be less overpowering.
03/14/2009 08:46:29 AM
Nice wedding portrait with this light!
03/13/2009 10:15:18 PM
Nice, but I'd like to see a little better exposure on the groom. Perhaps a little turn and a slightly different shooting angle would remedy his shadow.
03/13/2009 08:14:22 PM
Lovely wedding shot.
03/13/2009 07:59:37 PM
Nice private moment. A little too contrasty for me.
03/13/2009 07:45:24 PM
good lighting here, I recommend a more landcape crop here. Loose the lower shadow portion. Also recommend to remove the blue cast on the wedding gown and just lighten the shadows on the groom slightly

great lighting in this
03/13/2009 01:32:43 PM
I maybe would have cropped tighter and tried to show the brides face.
03/13/2009 10:51:19 AM
beautiful surrounding for a wedding portrait, I like how the sun is lighting up the bride
03/13/2009 06:39:58 AM
The wispy grass adds a nice touch to this shot.
03/12/2009 10:43:17 PM
This is very nice. There's just something about the color of the sky that seems a bit dreary for such a happy moment. Maybe a tighter crop would have worked better (IMHO)... just to get rid of the brownish hue of the sky.
03/12/2009 05:55:49 PM
Image feels a bit unbalanced by that tree on the right. Otherwise it seems like a decent shot.
03/12/2009 10:58:02 AM
It seems to me that the bride and groom are the main part of this subject, yet they are relatively small in the frame. As a result, detail is lost -- it is difficult to even see what the groom looks like. It does a nice job of giving the context of the shot (a golf course, perhaps?) Also, having the b&g centered, and the tree on the right makes this composition feel very "off" to me. It needs something "high" on the left side of the frame, OR a vertical crop instead of the squarish one here. I fully understand this may be the effect you want, but it just doesn't translate well to me.

I would closer capture of the couple
03/11/2009 05:45:40 PM
a little tighter crop on the couple would have helped. also the focus is a bit soft.
03/11/2009 04:59:44 PM
This is ok for a wedding snapshot but not liking it to much more then that. The sun was to bright. Maybe if they were in the shade it would be better but its just not to interesting to me.
03/11/2009 02:12:39 PM
Is that a golf crouse in the background? Very strong statement being made here. Run girl run.
03/11/2009 11:46:18 AM
Bothers me that I can't see the Bride's face. All I get is white, white, white from the dress & veil.
03/11/2009 08:55:21 AM
Great location and pose. Wonder how it would look with the guy's face in the sun? I do like the lighting on the dress though.
03/11/2009 04:05:43 AM
nicely done
03/11/2009 02:15:44 AM
That shot will be treasured by the happy couple.
