 Taken while out cross country skiing in the foothills of the Rockies.

Used a polarizing filter to try and maximise the contrasts between the snow, sky and trees.

Nice dramatic sky and B&W conversion. The sloping hill on the right adds some visual interest in the photo. That being said, I don't know if I find the subject matter of the photo to be really interesting overall.

The light and the angle of the light is great. I like the gradient of the sky as well, the trees really jump out
