 A shoot i decided to do with myself and baloons in the local wood would have liked to have had a women in a long flouncy dress and alike but sorry just little old me!

Did some little bits of editing curves dodgeing/burning mainly burning the shadows
All light is natural sadly have no light equipment yet

(just realised my camera date was set wrong this shot was infact taken this march)

Oh, very surreal! The title is very fitting. Maybe a closer crop would help, my eye goes straight down the row of trees. I like it, but it may not have been your objective.

This shot and title really tell a story more than most other shots. I can see the loneliness without seeing his face. Hopefully he's just resting and recuperating from the party. Nice forest scene with totally out of place balloons really adding interest.

I love those genuine hidden gem photographs that are so much better than they first appear (when it is the exact opposite - fool's gold - that is so much more common, both in this challenge and in the wider world).

It doesn't look like much at first glance, I admit that. But consider it just a moment longer and you see that it has substance. It obliges the viewer to get involved, to become a participant in the photograph, rather than to simply admire it. Nothing is certain: nothing is excluded either. I like it because it's not about photography, it's about the photograph. 9.

There is a very lonely and haunting mood to this shot. But there is also something visually lacking. I wish the subject were a bit more visible.

This one needs a wee bit more light I think. It'd also be improved by the model sitting side-on too, so we could see his expression. I like the idea itself, very sad.

How very sad to throw a party and have no one show up. What I think really adds to the lonely feeling is the section of forest just to the left of the last blue balloon, where the eyes tend to lead. It's almost as if we're waiting and watching, for someone - anyone - to come through there to join the party, but knowing no one will.
