Well balanced and framed. I wish you could've carried the focus a little further down the fretboard, but you can't have it all. Nice Shot - Inspzil |

Very nice. I wonder what it would like turned 90 degrees to the right. Might look great in B and W too. Lots of possibilities and great shot. DPz |

Great perspective, simple but highly imressive! Lighting and cropping are perfect too... 10 - nds |

This would have been good if the light wasnt shining directly on the strings. Maybe try pointing the light up and then taking a white poster board to reflect the light onto the strings. It should give it a softer look. Nice try. 5 Sonifo |

I like this one alot. It blurs just right and the angle is crative. |

Nice photo. A greater depth of field would have added more impact. |

Great use of DoF. I really like how you got the whole guitar in shot. |

challenge -- met technical -- used the DOF that most digital cameras allow in macro mode well. wish there was a little more of it anyway. the lighting is a little uneven, i'm not sure whether you intended that or not. composition -- symmetry works well here. great unusual look at a guitar. well done. -- gr8photos |

The DOF is paper thin on this. Not nesessarily a bad thing though. The part that is in focus is in very nice focus. I think though that I might like to see a tad more in focus though. Just my personal opinion. A bit of bright light intrudes in on the focused part, taking away a bit of the detail. I love the angle and framing/cropping. A nice guitar for sure. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |
