I'm really surprised that this picture only ended on 14th place.

a+ on the framing
04/21/2002 07:47:00 PM
nice pic, too much blue (sky)
04/21/2002 05:07:00 PM
very nice!
04/21/2002 04:13:00 PM
Yay! Im not the only Plane Nut! even though we may just be plainly nuts.
What kind of camera, settings, and orriginal picture size?
04/21/2002 10:42:00 AM
Well done. Wish you'd had a better zoom for this shot though.
04/20/2002 06:30:00 AM
Wow. Longer zoom lens or cropping the image a little tighter would have made this a real winner.
04/20/2002 04:18:00 AM
There's just too much sky in this photo. A clear picture of the aircraft and it filling the photo would have worked better for me.
04/19/2002 03:21:00 PM
Great photo of something that must have been shifting.
04/19/2002 01:17:00 PM
Good shot! No doubt this one was in motion!
04/19/2002 07:25:00 AM
Like the idea. I probably would've cropped it a little tighter (top and right).
04/19/2002 01:27:00 AM
now THIS is stop action! how many of us will ever get to photography something like this?!
04/18/2002 08:13:00 PM
This is a unique entry and I like the focus on the airplane. Good job.
04/18/2002 06:06:00 PM
There's a lot of empty space (well, cloudy space) at the top. If you could have zoomed in more, wow. Beautiful sky.
04/18/2002 07:35:00 AM
Nice blue sky. blurry plane
04/18/2002 06:13:00 AM
wow, must have one hell of a zoom! Great photo. something about the top right corner...to much cloud? Not sure.
04/17/2002 06:00:00 PM
This is a pretty nice shot. Seems just a tad out of focus though.
04/17/2002 05:39:00 PM
Hmm... forward canards, but twin engine, so it's not a Gripen, and there aren't enough hardpoints for a Typhoon... Rafale?
04/17/2002 11:06:00 AM
dang, that's a killer shot! the way the cloud arches over really adds to the interest of the picture. good use of zoom
04/17/2002 11:03:00 AM
the smoke was captured perfectly
04/17/2002 08:15:00 AM
There is too much sky in this picture IMO. Cropping would certainly have helped
04/16/2002 05:11:00 PM
The plane is a little out of focus but this is still a great shot. Do the planes fly low where your from or do you just have a gigantic zoom lense attached to your camera?
04/16/2002 12:40:00 PM
Capturing a fighterplane mid-air, now that's what I call stop motion. The position of the plane and it's trail combined with the contrast between the blue sky and the white clouds, make it a fascinating photo.
04/16/2002 11:39:00 AM
Wow, very good and I imagine hard to get. Nice job!
04/16/2002 09:47:00 AM
I like the shot. Just a little better focus and a bit closer would have really helped.
04/16/2002 03:40:00 AM
I really wish the plane were slightly to the right so the contrail was furter from the edge. Like it's easy to take a shot like this! :)
04/15/2002 05:19:00 PM
So you had to come along and destroy the field? I see how it is. Well, you just wht til the next challenge. I'm gonna really, really, really try hard. Most excellent!
04/15/2002 02:16:00 PM
composion and colour ok but subject not sharp.
04/15/2002 01:14:00 PM
Original for the challenge and a very nice shot. I do see motion blurr on the kanards however.
04/15/2002 11:50:00 AM
Is this the Eurofighter? This is a nice photo. I wish the subject were larger in the frame and i wish the stopped motion wasn't smoke. Since there are no moving parts on the outside of the plane, this is like a gliding bird. It's not really moving.. you are moving the camera to follow it. I used the analogy of photographing a ferrari on a flatbad railcar in a previous comment on a photo like this...
04/15/2002 11:47:00 AM
lucky you, airshow in town? nice colors in the blues and whites.
04/15/2002 11:35:00 AM
Did you take this?
04/15/2002 09:23:00 AM
This is a very cool shot. Where are you from? There aren't any jets like that in the United States, I'm pretty sure, you get a 10 from me
04/15/2002 08:36:00 AM
GREAT capture !!!!!
04/15/2002 07:05:00 AM
Nice framing and good shot. Not convinced this is digital though, due to the spots
