 Never really got flower shots, so here's my attempt no idea how it will go. Tried something a little different, this is shot with my soft-box as the background and a second flash at 45deg high to my right. I was trying for a soft translucent feel to the orchids.

Coming back to see this i see that i gave it a 7 before, dunno what i was thinking, revising to a 9. I love the backlighting and hope you place top 10.

Very unique, almost painterly watercolour feeling. Gorgeous light. I would have liked a lighter border to preserve the delicacy of the flower. Without the border it's a winner. 9
