Location: Metairie, LA

bought some stock photo of the lady and displayed it on my laptop to create reflection in camera 100-400mm lens with polorized filter. Used 1 sec. exposure to capture the reflection in the 100-400mm and held my camera flash in my hand and manually flashed it to capture my face.

Since I didn't have a second camera to use in the photo, I stuck my macro flash case on the end of the 100-400mm lens to give it some body.

raw tools: PS CS4
kept it relatively dark, added a little vibrance

Photoshop and NiK Software:
layer masks to isolate my face, my eye, lady's reflection, lens, and the stand

the lady
-Sharpener Pro
-PS Black & White w/red tint
-layer mask to isolate lady's towel and background
-desaturated layer (towel and bckgrd) to bring out lady's fleshy tone

the stand
-Dfine
-Hue/Sat on the stand

my face
-Sharpener Pro

camera lens
-Dfine

full picture
-Color Efex Pro - Midnight effect
-bright-cont and curves

combined layers
scaled to 720px

used levels to blacken greyish background

created another layer and used Dfine to remove noise throughout picture especially cameraman's face
applied layer mask and used soft brush to expose shaper features from lower layer

This is one that definitely looks like a movie poster to me. Not sure why you added the stuff in parentheses because it doesn't really add anything here. Very creative and spooky!

Title is a stretch.

Most definitely looks like a movie poster. I'm kind of iffy on the title. Granted, it was hard to do something with those letters.

This is one of the few "looks like a cinema poster" photos. 7

interesting if legit. At least you honored the spirit of the challenge!!! Most here did not. The (poster dimensions...) comment is unneeded and annoying. Should have left the title as is.

Not a bad title (but not great either) but with an excellent photographic realisation of your chosen vision.

I'm liking the faithful aspect ration and the negative space for graphics.

Photographically, this is pretty impressive and probably much harder than it looks. I hope to see this on the front page; I'm not sure it will have wide enough appeal - but I hope so.
