 Shot with a light tent and 3 strobes. Originally wanted to use orange juice, but didn't have any here, so I settled for orange soda. I am quite pleased with the end result.

Opened Raw File, Cropped, Adjusted Exposure and Contrast.
Opened in CS4, Adujustment Layers for Curves and Levels. Resized, Sharpened, Added Border and Saved for Web.


Holy Crap!!!!! I finally made it to the front page after almost 150 attempts. I feel like crying... or dancing. I think I'll dance and save the crying for brown ribbons, haha

Thanks for all the wonderful comments and high votes, I knew this shot would pop but kept my hopes down on the ribbon thing.

After browsing through the top 10 images I've noticed mine is a total outcast. All the others have that nice soft light appeal which really makes mine seem loud. Oh well I am not complaining thats for sure.

Congrats on the yellow and your first ribbon. The bright colors against the white really stand out well. Good choice on using the orange soda instead of orange juice - the color is much more vibrant.

Wow this is brilliant. In my opinion, this is better than the one that got the first prize, but then, i'm just an amateur. I love the composition, the colors and the absolute clarity. Just positioning the 3 strobes at the right place must have been ...interesting.

Congrats on your Ribbon! 150 attempts and this is your first...You should have had one long time ago looking at your profile. I dont think we should call it attempts since the love creating these images and us enjoying them is a great reward in itself. Having said that...still many more ribbons whished for you. I think there should be a ribbon for persistence
