 Motherhood.. Young Himba girl in northern Namibia and her mother.

PS: Crop, levels, curves, hue/saturation, resize, sharpened, noise ninja, frame and save for the web.

Thanks everybody for wonderful comments and the high score. I had a very good feeling for this image from the moment I captured it. The red ribbon suits the Ovahimba people so well!

Excellent image. A well deserved ribbon. IMO it has all the qualities of a winning image - subject, technically well done, and emotion. I'm wondering what it would be like with her looking straight at the camera- just a thought.
