How can you even contemplate taking such a photo.
04/21/2002 05:07:00 PM
I don't get it???
04/20/2002 07:25:00 PM
Poor taste.
04/20/2002 04:16:00 PM
loved the idea. but....white balance was off and shutter speed was too slow.
04/20/2002 01:59:00 PM
Unsavorable subject matter. Please disqualify!
04/20/2002 12:34:00 PM
looks like you're out of toilet paper
04/20/2002 09:38:00 AM
no way :O
04/20/2002 09:04:00 AM
Not too much stopped motion. Maybe a close up shot of the liquid exiting its source would've been more dramatic, eh?
04/20/2002 04:10:00 AM
There's one in every crowd. Got a hang up about the seat up??
04/19/2002 09:47:00 AM
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
04/19/2002 07:27:00 AM
well, i gotta say the pee is blurred with motion trails.. not quite stopped motion. now if your pee was hanging in mid air that would be certainly score high points.
04/19/2002 01:27:00 AM
I have seen much more detailed stopped motion shots of urine. The lighting is too dim! ;)
04/18/2002 01:21:00 PM
Your bathroom has crap lighiting nothing is better than pissing in the great out doors
04/18/2002 01:07:00 PM
LOL. Nice composition with the empty paper roll situated between the stream and the coat. Color is kind of dark, and the stop motion isn't quite all there. Focus seems a bit soft. But then, thats probably a good thing...
04/18/2002 09:56:00 AM
The color is way off and not sure I like the shock value, plus the action is not really frozen.
04/18/2002 08:35:00 AM
Wish my conscience allowed for bonus points for titles from Elvis Costello. Good idea. Bad technique.
04/18/2002 07:58:00 AM
if this pic stopped the pee at the FRONT of it's blast, it might be cool, but since it's just a stream, that presented no challenge to photograph whatsoever.
04/17/2002 11:48:00 PM
ugly.. i didn't have to see that
04/17/2002 12:37:00 PM
what kind of loser takes pictures of himself peeing
04/17/2002 10:16:00 AM
Brave attempt. Hope your subject didn't mind, and I am glad the top of the image stopped where it does. :-)
Seriously -- a different lighting scheme may have made the picture a little more effective. Also, the "subject" that is to be stopped is almost indistinguishable at first -- it fades into the background.
04/17/2002 06:22:00 AM
?
04/17/2002 04:10:00 AM
replace your toilet roll next time
04/16/2002 08:51:00 PM
Visually uninteresting, blurred urine.
04/16/2002 08:48:00 PM
funny, but dark
04/16/2002 02:59:00 PM
this motion ain't even stopped.
04/16/2002 02:37:00 PM
interesting, too bad you couldn't have been writing your name, like in the sand or snow!:) The only suggestion I have is to maybe white balance a little.
04/16/2002 01:42:00 PM
Did you mean it to be so yellow?
04/16/2002 12:10:00 PM
stranded! stranded!
Nice to see you lifted the lid.....question is did you put it down again??
04/16/2002 11:58:00 AM
gross
04/15/2002 07:26:00 PM
Just a bad quality picture of a bad idea. Can't really see "stopped action" -- photo just isn't clear enough.
04/15/2002 01:08:00 PM
Well it is the most original of the falling water shots. You got an extra point for that but since nearly everyone did the falling water thing it loses for originality as a concept.
04/15/2002 12:43:00 PM
needs white balance ..
04/15/2002 11:36:00 AM
Come on, you didn't even stop the motion.
04/15/2002 11:35:00 AM
You should be axed
04/15/2002 11:30:00 AM
Gross. I'm really glad you didn't show any more details. At least you met the criteria.
04/15/2002 11:29:00 AM
Ok, if you're gonna show us a shot of a pee stream at least honor us by doing it well. How? Try backlighting the stream so it can be seen, and use a flash to stop the motion. Sorry but gotta rate this one low :)
04/15/2002 10:17:00 AM
This is pretty distasteful, the pubic hair picture was o.k., this one is just gross

HOWEVER, it does meet the challenge, and as such I will rate it above the 1 that I instinctively gave

Interested to see what kind of comments this one will spark, I'm guessing this is another one by Ryano?
04/15/2002 09:48:00 AM
hmmm...not comment
04/15/2002 09:24:00 AM
Yea, well I didn't need to see someone peeing. What's with the toilet issues? But an interesting shot to say the least. White balance is off, and hard to see the stream in this lighting.
04/15/2002 08:55:00 AM
this is terrible. it's blurry, badly lit, and sick. i have two tips for you: (1) next time, refill the toilet paper before you pee and (2) never take a picture like this again.
04/15/2002 06:58:00 AM
ha! that's great! :P
04/15/2002 06:49:00 AM
Lovely. Easily the best entry. Shame about the blurring...
04/15/2002 06:38:00 AM
I would like to have an autographed print of this one. You could be the next Robert Maplethorpe. Did you know that the government funds art like this? Now, on to the photo... The subject of your photo, "the flowing stream of urine", is not frozen in time. You possibly could have fired the flash on this shot, which, in turn, would have frozen the motion and also created a better lighting situation and improved the overall quality of this shot. You do get extra points for lifting the lid, but those points may be cancelled out by the reduction in score for not replacing the roll of paper last time you visited this location.
04/15/2002 05:43:00 AM
clever... the colour seems slightly yellow/tan
04/15/2002 12:45:00 AM
Just plain tacky.
