FIRST IMPRESSION:
Good gosh, where is this suppose to be inserted into??? :)
COMPOSITION:
Awesome! No matter where you look first, you end up following every curve on this 'probe'. :)
TECHNICAL:
I would have prefered for the tip to be in focus, but it still works nicely this way. Lighting really brings out the shapes. Very nice. :)
ARTISTIC:
Meet the challenge? Duh!...of course. Interesting subject? Well, if I don't know what it is, then it sure is interesting. :)
OVERALL:
Great shot. Works well with the white background. I didn't get to vote on your photo, but if I had, I'd give it a strong 9.

| Looks like lab equipment - glass tubing in a beaker. Both clear but colorized to this color. Did I miss it? Normally do not like colorization(changeing from natural colors) of any form, but this is ok. Not real exciting or grabbing but fits the challenge. PTL 5 |

| Good job! Very cool looking and nice perspective... good placement as well... I like it a lot... wish it were just a tad brighter maybe, theres a grainy, almost painting like look to it. Very interesting. Good luck! |

challenge -- met
technical -- totally nice white background (i love those) and colors are great overall
composition -- high-key, neg. space & abstract all in one ... and it works! i like it. what am i looking at? a drink with a squirly straw? nicely done :)
