| what a great use of negative space. i love the color of the sky, and that moon is stunning. The focus and clarity is awesome and your angle and framing/cropping are great as well. A very nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Great shot. Slightly more use of the rule of thirds would have gotten a point higher but a good 7 in my oppinion. It looks like the moon is hiding behind the rock. |

A strong image - the kind I'd expect to see in a good travel guide book or in a magazine.
I like the way the shadows cause the snow to appear blue - echoeing the rich blue sky.
Beautiful composition.

| This is beautiful. The "Blue Moon" photo submitted looks like it was cut out of this shot. I would have cropped off some of the bottom and top to bring the moon more into the line of the eyes. It would be a larger part of the photo therefore easier to spot at a glance, and as your subject that's where you want the eyes to go immediately. Otherwise great shot. PTL 8 |

| The mountains are slightly blurry. Don't know if that is from the camera being out of focus or motion of the photog or compression issues. Still, great angle. Love the way it's poking out from behind the rock. muckpond |

| Really cool photo, the way the shadowed edge of the moon lines up with the slope of the mountain. Very nice colors and composition as well. Overall image sharpness seems a bit low, I'm sure that can be corrected w/ software. |

| you were definately in the right place at the right time for this photo....good job, it might be just a tad bit out of focus (or maybe its my monitor, i don't know). but nevertheless it is a good shot and i enjoy it. |

I'm not voting this week and just flipping through the thumbnails. Wanted to say that i like this picture a lot. Good composition, good cropping. Love the orangy brown with the blue and the texture on the rocks.The focus seems a tad soft but i like that in this image as it adds to the overall mystique. I see some blotches in the sky, a little overcompressed maybe? I'll give this a 10 but it won't count so you'll loose that by the end of the week, sorry :) Journey (until dpc facilitates voting for us slow-modem folks i just can't find the time/energy anymore to vote)

| Wow nice capture of the scene. The compositon is lovely. The moon is placed nicely against the rock peaks. The shot might have been a bit better with less sky showing though. Overall well done. |
