|Interesting to consider freedom. We will declare war and kill to protect it. Yet, most of us willingly forego some of our freedom of association, in favour of settling down and raising a family. At least in principle we do this. In practice, we occasionally succumb to the temptation to enjoy a taste of that freedom again.
This was shot in the living room. Natural light, supplemented by a bounced flash. Shot with a timer - I am the male model. The female model is my ever supporting wife, who not only agreed to pose for this dubious scene, but originally came up with the idea of associating Freedom with Marriage.
Post-processed in photoshop: levels, colour cast, some hotspots burned, minor blemishes and a fold on her dress cloned out, unsharp mask, resizing, unsharp mask again.
