A local farrier and reiner, Steve Morris, on his wonderful little horse. Yes, it's a Hollwood Dun It grandson :-) Shot on his property, where he was hosting a reining clinic. The clinician was Gaetan Gaulthier. Got this shot as Steve let his horse walk while waiting for more instruction from Gaetan.

Anyway I loved the way the cloud of dust is obscuring the old-school tractor in the background, hence the title. Tractors and their like replaced horses as the all-purpose farm machine, so here's a shot to remind people that technology ain't all it's cracked up to be :-)

It's an interesting moment. While not a dramatic shot, it still tells a good story. Maybe better than any other entries.

this is a caption in search of a photo as opposed to a photo needing no caption (which is what makes a good pj image). not really something i'd expect to see on a magazine cover or a newspaper front page.
