| I like what you were going for here, but I think a few things could have helped improved this shot. I don't really care for the big tree in the background, it's blocking my view of the shy, so maybe a different angle could have been used. Also, the flash is really bright. I would have liked this more if the flash balanced the ambient light more. |

| I can see a definitive line where the flash was effective and where it was not... The bottom portion of the buckthorn is in shadow and not illuminated well by the flash, where the top portion is. The use of fill flash is obvious but not too effective. |
